Senior Account/Facilities Director - Integrated Facilities Management (Higher Ed

CBRE is seeking a Senior Account Director to oversee a team responsible for delivering all key client commitments across multiple U.S. locations.

What You'll Do

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring.

Coordinate and manage daily activities. Establish schedules, assign tasks, cross‑train staff. Set and track deadlines.

Consult with senior sales professionals to define complex project requirements, investigate approaches, develop action plans, and ensure timely implementation.

Obtain and coordinate resources for projects and strategic plans.

Manage sales and relationships with large/high‑profile clients. Identify sales opportunities and improvements.

Review service‑level reports to ensure client service levels are met/exceeded.

Troubleshoot escalated issues with internal and client teams; serve as subject matter expert for key systems and processes.

Direct the client and project team on scope of work and responsibilities; monitor performance and delivery against contractual obligations.

Apply broad business knowledge to achieve team and departmental objectives.

Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, influence others.

Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.

Understand and recognize broader departmental impact.

Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; experience/education combination considered.

Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.

Ability to exchange sensitive, complex information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate the team toward operational targets affecting multiple disciplines.

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Extensive organizational skills and advanced inquisitive mindset.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The minimum salary for the Sr. Account Director position is $155,000 annually and the maximum salary is $230,000 annually. Compensation includes a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program.
