We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst (Vulnerability Management) to identify, assess, and drive the remediation of vulnerabilities across the organization.
Because security isn’t just about protection. It’s about eliminating weaknesses before they’re exploited.
The Role This role focuses on proactively identifying and managing vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and platforms. You will analyze risks, prioritize remediation, and work with teams to ensure issues are resolved. You are driving risk reduction across the organization.
What You’ll Own Vulnerability Identification & Scanning
Conduct vulnerability scans across
Systems and infrastructure
Applications and platforms
Identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
Maintain visibility into system weaknesses
Risk Assessment & Prioritization
Analyze vulnerabilities based on
Severity
Impact
Likelihood of exploitation
Prioritize remediation based on risk
Remediation Coordination
Work with
IT Operations
Application teams
Security teams
Ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner
Track progress and follow through to resolution
Vulnerability Tracking & Reporting
Maintain records of vulnerabilities
Track remediation timelines and status
Report on
Risk exposure
Progress and improvements
Security Configuration & Hardening Support
Identify misconfigurations
Recommend secure configurations
Support system hardening efforts
Threat Awareness & Risk Analysis
Stay informed on emerging vulnerabilities
Assess exposure to known threats
Recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Collaboration Across Teams
Partner with
Cybersecurity Engineers
IT Operations
Applications & Platforms teams
Support coordinated remediation efforts
Support for Testing & Validation
Assist with penetration testing activities
Review findings and support remediation
Validate that issues have been resolved
Compliance & Documentation
Align vulnerability management with policies
Support audit and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate documentation
Continuous Improvement
Improve vulnerability management processes
Enhance tools and workflows
Strengthen overall security posture
Who This Is For

Has strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Understands how vulnerabilities impact real systems
Can work across teams to drive resolution
Wants to proactively strengthen security
Qualifications Required
1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or related roles
Basic understanding of
Vulnerability scanning
Risk assessment
System and application security
Preferred
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
Familiarity with
Security frameworks
System hardening practices
Certifications (Security+, CEH – preferred but not required)
Experience in cloud or SaaS environments
Commitment
8–12 hours per week
Flexible schedule (with responsiveness to security needs)
Fully remote
