is seeking to hire a
Leasing Agent . This is a
full-time (direct hire)
position. Your primary role is to lease apartments to prospective residents and provide support to current tenants. You will act as the main point of contact between residents and the property management team, showcasing units, explaining lease terms, and building positive relationships within the community. Hours for this position are
8:00am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday
with
FLEXIBLE Fridays (8:00am-2:00pm)
if you work an extra 30‑minutes Monday – Thursday until 5:00pm you can leave every Friday by 2:30pm as long as you work 40‑hours each week.
NO WEEKEND WORK!
You never have to work Saturdays or Sundays.
This position
pays $19–$21/hour
based on relevant experience, includes
monthly bonuses for new leases
which usually averages between an
extra $5K–$7K each year ,
$50/month cell phone allowance , and a generous benefits package that includes health, vision, dental insurance, and 401(k) with company match after 30 days of service. 1+ years of Leasing Agent experience
inside Class A or Class B large apartment environments. Candidates with a strong Customer Service background that want to start a career in Property Management/Leasing are encouraged to apply as well.
Key Responsibilities Leasing Activities Promote leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community while promoting resident satisfaction. Showcasing available apartments and highlighting their features and benefits. Conducting property tours for prospective tenants. Qualifying potential renters by reviewing applications, performing background and credit checks. Preparing and executing lease agreements. Handling the collection of application fees, security deposits, and rent payments. Negotiating lease renewals and communicating changes to lease terms. Preparing move‑in packages and lease paperwork. Walking through units to ensure they are ready. Moving in residents by reviewing lease and addendums. Promoting other income items. Verifying applications and notifying applicants of approval or denial. Maintaining hospitality center for prospective residents. Preparing renewal paperwork. Preparing service requests and assigning staff to duties.
Customer Service Building rapport with current residents and providing personalized service. Responding to resident inquiries, requests, and complaints. Addressing maintenance requests and coordinating necessary repairs. Informing residents of property updates, events, and any changes to their lease agreements.
Marketing and Sales Assisting with marketing efforts to attract new residents. Developing and implementing strategies to improve resident satisfaction. Maintaining monthly market survey and knowledge of competition.
General Administration Maintaining accurate records of leasing activity, resident information, and property data. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Preparing and distributing resident communications, such as newsletters and flyers. Participating in property inspections, including move‑in and move‑out walkthroughs.
Qualifications The ability to create a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents through customer service focus. Outgoing personality with the ability to effectively communicate the property’s amenities and close lease agreements with new tenants. Comfortable using a computer and learning property management software. High school degree.
