Position Overview
Old York Cellars is seeking a hands‑on Marketing Manager / Wine Ambassador to drive winery traffic, increase event attendance, and convert content into measurable revenue. This on‑site marketing + guest experience role combines digital marketing, social media content creation, and hospitality. You will create and execute marketing in real time—capturing the winery experience, promoting events, and engaging directly with guests. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn social media, email marketing, and content into actual sales, visits, and bookings.
Compensation & Schedule Salary: $50,000 annually (consistent year‑round pay)
Seasonal Workload:
Mid‑March – Mid‑November (Peak Season): 45–50 hours/week (includes weekends and events)
Mid‑November – Mid‑March (Off‑Season): ~30 hours/week
Weekend hospitality shifts are a core part of this role and required during peak season.

Track performance and improve conversion
Primary Responsibilities Digital Marketing Execution
Execute weekly digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and website
Maintain consistent messaging and posting cadence
Adjust quickly based on events, traffic, and performance
Social Media Marketing
Manage and grow Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Engage with followers and drive interaction
Content Creation
Shoot and edit photo and video content
Capture authentic winery experiences
Build a content library
Create content that drives engagement and revenue
Event Marketing
Promote winery events across all channels
Coordinate social, email, and website updates
Focus on driving attendance and ticket sales
Email Marketing
Execute campaigns using Mailchimp or Klaviyo
Track open rates, clicks, and conversions
Website Management
Update WordPress site and event listings
Paid Social
Support Facebook/Instagram ads
Tracking & Performance
Track results using Excel or Google Sheets
Monitor engagement and conversions
Work scheduled hospitality shifts on weekends
Engage with guests as a Wine Ambassador
Support tastings and events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or 2+ years digital marketing experience
Experience with social media, content creation, email marketing
