Job Description
The Relationship Banker II meets with customers and prospects, both in person and on the phone, to determine their financial needs and proactively offers appropriate products and services to help them achieve their goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Achieves branch targets by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions’ solutions
Conducts outbound phone calls from lead lists to expand relationships and acquire new customers
Educates customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services, including loans and deposits
Educates customers on emerging technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings
Provides a consistent optimal customer experience, greeting customers and processing transactions
Owns and resolves customer issues
Refers customers to internal experts for complex financial goals
Follows bank processes and procedures, adheres to laws and regulations, and manages operational risks as delegated by the Branch Manager
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work Saturdays as needed
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and electronically
Ability to use a computer regularly, including typing and screen monitoring
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to twenty pounds
Preferences
Bachelor’s degree
Life Insurance License
One year of cash‑handling, banking or customer service experience
Skills and Competencies

$43,814.19 USD
Median:
$52,402.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: Eligible for commission and formulaic incentive plans based on performance against defined metrics.
