Senior Revenue Cloud Developer Work Location:
Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week onsite at Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Englewood, CO; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL; Raleigh, NC; or Charlottesville, VA. Team:
We are responsible for the management and improvements of the Business Applications that drive S&P Global. Our team operates across internal applications including Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Oracle ERP, Data Warehouse, Internal Fulfillment Systems and Workflow tools. You will collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and teams globally.
Responsibilities
Design and build advanced customizations using Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, Platform Events), Visualforce (if applicable), and Lightning (Aura/LWC), ensuring scalability and performance. Knowledge of Lightning components, application, events and component-to-component communication is a plus.
Drive the design, development, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions, adhering to Agile (SCRUM) and SDLC best practices.
Proficiency with front-end technologies (AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML) within the Salesforce platform.
Extensive experience debugging with Anonymous Code Block execution and logging (System/Developer Logs).
Hands-on experience with deployment tools (Copado, Prodly, Salesforce CLI).
Adapt well to new environments and demonstrate responsibility in solution execution.
Produce system design documents, lead technical walkthroughs, and present code solutions to the Salesforce Architecture Review Board.
Produce high-quality code, own code quality, and represent the team’s technical output to workstreams and product owners.
Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
Mentor junior developers on best practices and contribute to architectural improvements.
Potential to contribute in a System Architect Associate role for governance meetings and stakeholder discussions.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in application development using Salesforce.
Experience with front-end technologies (Lightning Web Components, Angular/jQuery) to enhance the user experience within the platform.
Current Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Application Architect, or System Architect.
Experience integrating Salesforce flows and Apex with external systems to deliver scalable workflows.
Experience with Salesforce API, SOAP messaging and integration with other enterprise applications; knowledge of trigger design patterns.
Proficient with SDLC methodologies including Agile and Test-Driven Development.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Platform Developer II.
Experience building custom solutions around Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Steelbrick, or Zuora implementations at enterprise scale.
Functional understanding of billing functionalities such as collections, revenue schedules, cash application, tax, and invoice generation.
Experience with external objects, GraphQL, and Salesforce Managed Packages limitations.
Experience in complex multi-cloud or multi-org Salesforce environments.
Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to create technical design documents and data schemas.
Experience with large-scale CPQ data migrations.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $91,805 to $162,163. Final base salary is determined by geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. This role may include additional benefits offered by S&P Global.
