We are a busy, customer-focused Ford dealership committed to providing top-quality service and genuine OEM parts. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Counter-person to join our team.
Position Summary The Parts Counter-person is responsible for assisting retail and wholesale customers, as well as service technicians, in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers and service technicians in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional manner
Accurately look up parts using electronic catalogs and dealership systems
Process parts orders, invoices, and returns efficiently
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock orders and receiving shipments Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-stocked
Communicate effectively with the service department regarding parts availability and timelines
Upsell related parts and accessories when appropriate
Qualifications
Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience a plus)
Familiarity with Ford parts systems (or similar OEM systems) is a strong advantage
Strong computer skills and ability to learn dealership software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
High school diploma or equivalent required
