
Loan Operations & Portfolio Analyst

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Loan Operations & Portfolio Analyst to support the management of a growing private credit portfolio within our OCIP fund. This role sits at the intersection of loan servicing, portfolio analytics, and transaction execution, serving as the operational support structure of the Portfolio Management team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, performance tracking, and seamless execution of approximately 20-30 active loan investments. This is a critical role that directly impacts portfolio performance, investor reporting, and realized returns.
This position is fully in-office in Atlanta (Alpharetta, GA) and offers a path toward advancement into a broader asset management role.
Key Responsibilities
Track and manage a portfolio of private credit investments, including: Quarterly cash interest payments PIK (payment-in-kind) accruals Origination, exit, and other fee structures Maintain detailed loan-level tracking models and ensure data accuracy across all investments Reconcile expected vs. actual cash flows and identify discrepancies Covenant Compliance & Risk Monitoring
Monitor borrower compliance with financial and operational covenants Track reporting deliverables and obligations from counterparties Proactively identify and elevate potential risks or breaches Cash Flow Analysis & Return Attribution
Calculate and track investment-level performance metrics, including IRR and MOIC Analyze return drivers (interest income, fees, early payoffs, etc.) Support internal reporting and investor communications with accurate, timely data Transaction & Exit Execution
Support loan payoff and exit processes, including: Prepayment and make-whole calculations Exit fee and PIK unwind analysis Interpretation of loan documents (holdbacks, escrows, contingencies) Coordinate with legal counsel, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to ensure clean execution Fund & Operational Coordination
Assist with fund-level allocation tracking across multiple vehicles or sleeves Work closely with accounting teams, fund administrators, and auditors Support ongoing process improvement and development of internal systems Qualifications
Required
2–4years of relevant experience in: Structured finance or project finance Investment operations or fund administration (credit-focused) Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Solid understanding of: Loan structures and credit agreements IRR, MOIC, and cash flow modeling PIK interest and fee-based return components Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline Preferred
Experience working with legal loan documentation and payoff mechanics Familiarity with infrastructure, energy, or asset-backed credit strategies CPA, CFA, or progress toward certification (not required) What We’re Looking For
