Key Responsibilities
Responding to USPTO Office Actions
Drafting top‑notch U.S. patent applications for major technology companies
Conducting prior art searches, re‑examinations, freedom‑to‑operate analyses, due diligence, patentability assessments, litigation support, and patent searches
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Admitted to at least one state bar (if attorney) and admitted to the USPTO
A minimum of 3 years of high‑tech patent prosecution experience at a top law firm
Excellent academic credentials
Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills
Self‑driven, independent work ethic with strong communication abilities
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation based solely on productivity
Annual compensation range of $170,000–$330,000, variable by productivity, position level, and client portfolio
