Job Description
At Regions, the Commercial Relationship Manager II focuses on the delivery of tailored client solutions across a broad range of products and services within a dedicated geographic area and primarily targets clients generally with revenues up to $20MM.
Primary Responsibilities
Identifies, prioritizes and develops relationship strategy for high‑value retention/expansion clients and acquisition targets
Delivers knowledgeable advice and solutions, institutionalizes client relationships, and optimizes revenue opportunities to the Commercial Bank
Isolates current and emerging client needs and proactively introduces solutions
Identifies and works with relevant business partners in a team‑based delivery model
Plans and executes quality client/prospect calls, centered around advice‑driven delivery
Manages transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including structure, pricing, internal approval/compliance processes and documentation
Exercises credit acumen and pricing discipline
Develops consistent practices learned through the Relationship Management Process and relevant credit training
This position is exempt from time‑keeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years experience in Commercial Banking or six (6) years experience in closely related client‑facing financial services
High school diploma or GED and eight (8) years experience in Commercial Banking or ten (10) years experience in closely related client‑facing financial services

Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent relationship‑building skills
Extensive knowledge and understanding of bank lending programs, credit policies, and specialty products
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong business acumen to provide financial services consultation to commercial clients
Strong negotiation abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $113,460.85 USD
Median: $138,085.50 USD
Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
