Job Summary This is a one-year postdoctoral appointment for recent PhD graduates, renewable for one additional year. It is intended for an individual interested in health professions/pre‑medical education or pursuing medical school. Position will include teaching in collaboration with an experienced mentor as well as academic advising and coordinating between College of Health Professions and Upstate Admissions.
Responsibilities include
Assist Clinical Laboratory Science faculty with teaching courses in fall and spring.
Assist the Dept Chair and Program Director in advising Medical Scholars and Med Prep students.
Track student progress through the program.
Participate in mock medical school interviews.
Interview and serve on admissions committees for Med Preps and Medical Scholar programs.
Participate in data collection (and potential publication) for program graduates.
Minimum Qualifications PhD (or earned before September 2026)
Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience
