Healthcare Interior Designer
We are seeking a Healthcare Interior Designer to support the Veteran community in the San Francisco, California area. This position is open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals.
Position Highlights
Logistics:
Contract Type: 1 base year with 4 1-year option periods
Location: San Francisco, California
Requirements:
Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Interior Design / Interior Architecture program.
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
2+ years of experience in Healthcare Interior Design.
Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

Responsibilities
Perform Interior Design Program Support consistent with 1008 Federal Job Series, including review of transmittals, oversight of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), artwork and decorative furnishings, procurement and logistics support, and EOC deficiency tracking.
Conduct In-House Design tasks such as drafting, development of notes, and minor specification revisions necessary to produce a requirement with sufficient detail to inform work requirements and restrictions. Coordinate extensively with VA staff and use Autodesk applications.
Execute Requirements Development tasks, including data collection, retrieval of historical documentation, physical verification of existing conditions, review and response to Requests for Information (RFIs), Building Service Equipment (BSE) specifications, and cost estimating using RS Means or similar tools.
Work approximately 2,000 annual hours.
Qualifications
Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Interior Design / Interior Architecture program.
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
At least 2 years of experience in healthcare design.
Previous experience with the VA is a plus.
