This Loan Processor manages the loan lifecycle from application to closing, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely completion
Responsibilities
File Processing: Review loan applications (mortgage or commercial) to verify data validity, including employment, income, and assets. Documentation Management: Gather, track, and process necessary documents such as appraisals, insurance, title work, and UCC filings. Compliance & Risk: Maintain knowledge of banking regulations, ensuring all files meet company policies to manage risk. Liaison Duties: Act as a key point of contact between loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, and external vendors. Systems Entry: Update and maintain accurate loan records within the bank's Loan Origination System (LOS). Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of loan processing experience. Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, and documentation. Good understanding of banking and mortgage computer software and MS Office. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with loan systems. Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, organization, and interpersonal/communication skills. Good multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills. Pay range and compensation package #J-18808-Ljbffr
