Executive Director, ECP Marketing - Dry Eye Disease Portfolio Overview The Executive Director, ECP Marketing is responsible for leading Eye Care Professional (ECP) brand strategy and lifecycle management within the dry eye disease (DED) category. This role drives sustainable brand / portfolio growth through scientifically grounded positioning, ECP engagement, data‑informed decision‑making, and pipeline and indication expansion, in close partnership with cross‑functional teams.

This position requires a strategic commercial leader with experience translating clinical, real‑world, and market data into compelling, compliant ECP strategies, while leveraging advanced analytics and AI‑enabled tools to enhance insight generation, planning, and execution across the brand lifecycle in a competitive and evolving DED landscape.

Key Responsibilities ECP Brand & Scientific Strategy

Own and evolve the ECP brand strategy within the DED category, including positioning, messaging, and differentiation

Lead brand scientific strategy, ensuring accurate and impactful translation of clinical data, real‑world evidence, and disease‑state insights into ECP communications

Utilize AI‑enabled analytics and insight platforms to inform brand strategy, hypothesis generation, and competitive assessment

Drive full lifecycle management, including competitive defense, indication optimization, and growth opportunities

ECP Marketing & Execution

Lead upstream and downstream ECP marketing initiatives, including personal and non‑personal promotion, congress strategy, and digital engagement

Apply data science, AI tools, and advanced analytics to optimize marketing effectiveness, segmentation, content personalization, and resource allocation

Partner with Medical Affairs to align evidence generation, scientific exchange, and field medical coordination

Engage with ECP stakeholders to gather insights and inform strategic and tactical decision‑making

Cross‑Functional Leadership

Provide enterprise‑level strategic leadership across Medical, R&D, Sales, Market Access, Legal/Regulatory, Finance, Operations, and integrated Marketing capabilities

Collaborate with Sales and Field Leadership to ensure alignment and execution excellence

Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, delivering clear, data‑driven recommendations supported by analytics and insight

Partner with R&D and Medical to help shape future pipeline, formulation, and indication opportunities within the DED category

Leverage predictive analytics and scenario modeling to support long‑range planning and portfolio investment decisions

Business & Team Management

Support annual operating plans, sales forecasts, and budget management

Manage ECP marketing budgets with accountability and rigor

Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing, inclusive marketing team, fostering continuous learning, innovation, and ethical use of AI and data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, including leadership roles

Demonstrated success leading in‑market ECP/HCP brands and lifecycle management

Experience integrating scientific strategy, data, analytics, and AI‑enabled insights into commercial decision‑making

Ability to lead and influence within complex, matrixed organizations

Strong executive communication and presentation skills

Experience in Eye Care, Ophthalmology, or DED marketing strongly preferred

Domestic travel required; ability to travel overnight approximately 20%

Note: This role is eligible for our hybrid work schedule, allowing for up to 2 days/week of telecommuting from home and 3 days/week in our Bridgewater, NJ corporate office. While hybrid work is preferred, we are open to considering remote candidates who can accommodate periodic onsite presence or travel based on business requirements.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $275,000.00 and $320,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term and/or long‑term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well‑being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
