Mosaic Church in Evans, GA is hiring a part-time Preschool Ministry Lead. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable team member to support our children’s ministry team and help create an inviting, playful, Christ-centered environment for our preschool-aged children. This role is perfect for someone who loves Jesus, loves kids, and thrives in a team-centered environment. As the Preschool Ministry Lead, you'll be responsible for helping to build positive, nurturing relationships with children ages 3 to 5, and the volunteers who will serve alongside you. You'll help kids engage with age appropriate Bible lessons, worship, and activities. You’ll implement and support the classroom curriculum, structure, and routines with direction from our Family and Children’s Pastor. You’ll meet with the Family and Children’s Pastor monthly to discuss and prepare classroom curriculum and materials. You'll communicate clearly and kindly with children, parents, volunteers, and Family and Children’s Pastor. You'll assist with clean-up and basic classroom organization. Hours: Hours include Sundays from 10:15am-1:15pm (3 hours), monthly meetings with the Family and Children’s Pastor, and KidCity team training sessions. Ideally 3-5 hours per week. There is also an opportunity for more hours by providing childcare for small groups or church events. Childcare hours are not guaranteed, but dependent on the church's needs. Qualifications
A genuine love for Jesus; a passion for young children and helping them grow in their faith. A team player with a positive attitude. A desire to grow and develop as a spiritual leader. Reliability and commitment to serving consistently on Sundays. Ability to follow safety policies and support a structured environment. Experience in caring for young children with the ability to adapt and interact with a variety of personalities, preferably in a Christian setting. Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
