Traveling Superintendent
– Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades.
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee field operations on industrial and construction job sites across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while providing hands‑on leadership to field crews and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of daily job site operations
Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
Ensure all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
Coordinate scheduling of labor, materials, and equipment
Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines
Maintain daily reports including manpower, progress, and jobsite issues
Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, and internal teams
Identify and resolve field challenges in a timely manner
Enforce OSHA and company safety policies and proceduresConduct safety meetings and ensure proper PPE usage
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role
Background in industrial or construction environments
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Knowledge of jobsite safety standards and regulations
Ability and willingness to travel extensively
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in industrial environments and varying weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required on active job sites
