Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing Planning & Orchestration Own and drive integrated marketing planning across global markets, audiences, channels, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with portfolio and audience strategies. Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans and briefs that guide internal teams and agency partners. Define priorities, sequencing, and resource allocation to maximize impact and efficiency.
What success looks like:
Integrated marketing plans established across priority initiatives with clear briefs, aligned stakeholders, and consistent execution across channels.
Agency Ecosystem Leadership Lead a multi-partner agency ecosystem, defining roles, responsibilities, and shared standards across strategy, execution, data, and specialized partners. Drive cross-agency integration and alignment to a single plan, ensuring partners operate as one system and deliver coordinated outputs tied to business impact.
What success looks like:
All priority agencies onboarded and integrated into a unified operating model with clear roles, governance, cadence, and accountability.
Data, Insights & Performance Integration Partner with data and analytics teams to ensure insights are embedded into integrated marketing planning and execution. Translate performance data into clear actions across agencies and internal teams, ensuring insights inform briefs, campaigns, and optimization efforts.
What success looks like:
Data and insights consistently integrated into planning and execution, with visible improvements in campaign optimization and decision‑making speed.
Operating Model & Ways of Working Design and refine integrated ways of working, including planning cadence, governance, workflows, and decision rights. Establish scalable, globally consistent processes that transform marketing into a coordinated, repeatable system across internal teams and external partners.
What success looks like:
Standardized operating cadence and governance model fully implemented and adopted across teams and agencies.
Executive & External Communications Alignment Partner with cross-functional leaders to support external communications, including media interactions, press releases, executive communications, and thought leadership. Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across HCP, patient, and corporate audiences.
What success looks like:
Consistent messaging and narrative alignment across key campaigns, audiences, and external communications.
Qualifications
Strategic and systems-oriented leader with the ability to design and implement operating models, governance structures, and scalable processes
Experience working within or leading complex agency ecosystems (e.g., agency-side account management, strategy, or integrated planning roles) strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
10–15+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with 5–7+ years in leadership roles
Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing across diverse markets and regulatory environments
Proven experience managing external vendors and agencies, including complex, multi-partner ecosystems
Experience operating at an enterprise level, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across complex organizations
Proven ability to operate in ambiguity, define structure, and build scalable processes in high-growth environments
Demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategies into effective, cross-channel campaigns and execution
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Ability to be in the San Jose office regularly, with flexibility based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within medical device, healthcare technology, or related industry preferred
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing integrated campaigns that drive awareness and market adoption
Experience developing messaging and content strategies across HCP, patient, and hospital executive audiences
Familiarity with global marketing execution across regions, including adapting campaigns for local market needs
Deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including SEO/SEM, social, email, paid media, and analytics
Strong project and program management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse functional teams and geographies within complex, matrixed organizations
Compensation $259,360 - $305,130 a year
Compensation also includes an annual bonus, flexible time off, and RSUs at offer!

The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
