Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP estimates across mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes from concept through construction documents.
Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and constructability reviews to ensure accurate pricing and scope coverage.
Build and manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure competitive and current pricing.
Lead scope alignment, identify gaps, and evaluate subcontractor proposals to mitigate risk.
Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and clients to resolve design and constructability challenges.
Support project handoff to operations and contribute to value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of MEP estimating experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents for full cost analysis.
Proven communication skills with the ability to present to internal teams and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools, with ability to adopt new systems quickly.
