You'll work across commercial and residential projects, build skills across multiple scopes, and have a clear path of potential progression to Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or Superintendent. Overview: Perform skilled carpentry work across commercial and residential construction projects ranging from $25K-$6M, supporting projects from rough framing through finish work.
Responsibilities: - Perform skilled carpentry including wood and metal stud framing - Complete finish carpentry and trim work - Install doors, frames, and hardware - Hang and finish drywall; basic painting as needed - Install acoustical ceilings - Support occasional concrete and masonry work - Read and work from drawings and specifications - Assist across multiple trades to support project completion
Key Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in the construction industry - Strong carpentry skills across rough and finish work - Ability to read and understand construction drawings (preferred) - Willingness to perform a wide range of construction tasks - Reliable, safety minded, and takes pride in workmanship - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required - Ability to travel up to 1 hour from Buffalo for job sites
