We are seeking a Managing Director, Global Private Client Services/Ultra HNW, to join our Global Private Client Services team. Responsibilities are, but not limited to: Serve as the lead tax advisor to ultra-high net worth and high net worth clients and their privately capitalized enterprises, including family offices, trusts, privately held businesses and investment vehicles. Provide comprehensive tax advice and solutions that consider income, estate and gift tax implications throughout the chain of ownership. Possess strong technical skills in individual and trust income, estate and gift tax, with working knowledge in corporations and partnerships. Responsible for being the lead of the engagement team, and responsible for having direct contact with clients and managing all aspects of client accounts. Provide effective consulting, planning and compliance advice for your clients. Research and document tax issues and identify planning opportunities. Provide thought leadership on issues critical to global private clients. Work to expand client base and display strong business development abilities. Mentor, train and supervise staff. The ideal candidate must: Have a CPA license or JD. Have a masters of tax or LLM (preferred). Have 10+ years of public accounting experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience. Have Big Law or Top 20 accounting firm experience (preferred). Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills. Have a track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service. Have experience representing clients in front of the IRS and state agencies. Be highly motivated to succeed and be part of a high-performing team.
