Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
Customer Service Representative 2
to support public-facing services. This role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities Interact with customers via phone or in person to provide information about services, programs, and eligibility Handle inquiries related to licenses, registrations, permits, and account-related services Resolve customer complaints, including billing issues and service concerns Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions Process forms, update account information, and manage service requests Determine service charges, collect payments, and assist with billing processes Reconcile cash receipts and prepare deposits as required Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments Conduct research and analyze policies to resolve complex customer issues Follow established guidelines while exercising judgment in sensitive situations
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Prior
customer service experience Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines Experience handling difficult customer interactions professionally Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
Preferred Qualifications Bilingual skills
(English + Spanish preferred) Experience in government or public service environments Cash handling or transaction processing experience
Additional Requirements Must be
local to Glendale, AZ
and available for in-person interviews Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer Successful completion of background check and drug screening (via HireRight) Must be comfortable working onsite full-time
