VP / Director of Wealth Management Salem Partners Wealth Management Overview Salem Partners Wealth Management is seeking a

senior ,

client-facing wealth management professional

to support ultra-high-net-worth clients and work closely with firm leadership. This role is designed for an experienced professional with strong

markets fluency, client presence, and judgment , who enjoys being a trusted relationship partner rather than a pure portfolio manager or salesperson.

The position sits at the intersection of

investment communication, client relationship management, and family-office coordination,

and will play a key role in presenting portfolios, handling complex one-off client needs, and translating investment strategy into clear, client-ready narratives.

Key Responsibilities Client & Relationship Management

Serve as a senior point of contact for select UHNW clients

Lead and participate in

quarterly client meetings , including performance reviews, portfolio discussions, and market updates

Act as a

relationship quarterback , coordinating internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless client experience

Handle ad hoc, high-touch client requests that require judgment, discretion, and follow-through

Investment & Portfolio Communication

Prepare and present

portfolio performance reports , asset allocation summaries, and attribution analyses

Communicate market conditions, investment rationale, and portfolio positioning clearly and confidently

Support portfolio construction discussions in partnership with senior investment leadership

Assist with tracking and communication related to alternative investments, capital calls, and distributions

Family Office Coordination

Coordinate with clients’

CPAs, attorneys, and insurance professionals

on trusts, estate planning, and complex structures

Support philanthropic initiatives, including donor-advised funds and foundations

Oversee document flow, reporting, and communications with custodians, fund managers, and service providers

Manage sensitive matters with a strong understanding of confidentiality and reputational considerations

Special Projects & Leadership Support

Support the CEO and CIO on strategic initiatives and special projects

Prepare materials for investment committee discussions as needed

Help translate complex internal work into clear, client-ready communication

Qualifications

7+ years

of experience in UHNW wealth management, multi-family office, private banking, or investment management

Strong understanding of

portfolio construction, markets, and investment principles

Proven ability to

present to sophisticated clients

with confidence and credibility

Experience coordinating across legal, tax, and advisory professionals

High level of judgment, discretion, and professionalism

Bachelor’s degree required;

CFA, CFP, or advanced degree a plus
