Job Description Summary Associate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market‑ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They also build and motivate high‑performing teams to maximize property performance.

Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall building operations.

Ensure the smooth running of our community in a fast‑paced environment.

Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.

Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.

Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.

Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.

Lead by example; instill, maintain, and model the Cushman & Wakefield mission as the best national management company.

Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the entire on‑site team, ensuring all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are followed.

Maintain effective on‑site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.

Maintain residents’ files in accordance with company standards.

Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.

Manage all aspects of overall community budget and finances.

Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met.

COMPETENCIES

Effective communication and customer service skills.

Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.

General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills with excellent oral and written communication.

Determine leasing opportunities for staff and work on goal setting to improve performance.

Supervise day‑to‑day operations, ensuring Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are followed.

Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met.

Manage a team.

Perform any related duties as required or assigned.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

3+ years of Property Management experience.

1+ years of Management experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical demands include traveling from floor to floor, climbing stairs, and traveling between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may need to remain stationary (sit or stand) for 85% of the time, use hands to operate office machinery, walk, talk, and hear regularly.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, geographic area, local market pay rates, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $23.80 - $28.00
