Alliance Catholic Credit Union is seeking an exceptional and experienced
Commercial Consultant
who thrives in a well-organized, fast-paced, and multi-task driven environment. This position will report directly to the VP of Lending at our Farmington Hills location.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the Credit Union’s commercial services, including business loan products and related commercial ancillary services.
Support sustainable loan growth by driving appropriate volume, profitability, and portfolio quality while maintaining minimal delinquency levels.
Ensure professional business relationships are established and maintained with members, vendors, the business community, and trade organizations.
Assist Senior Management with both long- and short-term Credit Union planning related to commercial lending.
Regularly analyze and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of commercial lending products and services.
Conduct periodic reviews of commercial lending policies to ensure continued effectiveness and compliance with evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
Ensure business loans and related relationships are managed effectively to meet the needs of borrowers while protecting the Credit Union’s interests.
Qualifications
Five to ten years of progressive lending experience within a credit union or comparable financial institution.
Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. MBA is preferred.
Technical knowledge of lending concepts, practices, procedures, and financial statements, with working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, statutes, and filing requirements related to lending, collections, insurance, and related functions.
