A leading global investment platform is seeking a
Senior Vice President – Fund Accounting
to oversee fund accounting and NAV reporting across a large, multi-asset investment platform.
The firm manages a diversified portfolio across multiple strategies and operates at significant scale. This role offers leadership over a large team, oversight of complex fund structures, and direct interaction with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Position Overview The SVP will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fund accounting operations, including NAV reporting, financial statement review, and team leadership across a global structure.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strong operational oversight, and the ability to manage large, multi-layered teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee
daily and monthly NAV processes
across multiple funds
Review and validate NAVs prepared internally and by third-party administrators
Ensure accuracy of fund accounting and reporting deliverables
Review financial statements, investor communications, and reporting packages
Oversee capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes
Ensure compliance with fund governing documents
Operations & Infrastructure
Oversee fund accounting operations across internal teams and service providers
Implement and enhance
processes, controls, and operational efficiency
Manage relationships with administrators and other third parties
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and develop a large team, including direct and indirect reports
Manage senior professionals and provide mentorship across the organization
Serve as escalation point for complex accounting and operational issues
Strategic Initiatives
Support launch of new funds and investment products
Partner with internal teams across finance, operations, legal, and compliance
Drive continuous improvement across reporting and operational processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
15-25 years of experience
in:
Fund accounting
Fund administration
Strong knowledge of:
Private equity and/or hedge funds
Fund accounting operations and NAV processes
CPA preferred
Strong leadership experience managing large teams
Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
