Job Description
Join us as a Regional Business Manager – HAE – Houston, TX. You will report to the Senior Regional Business Director, HAE.
The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for driving franchise sales growth through the execution of sales strategies. The role involves collaborating with the Regional Business Lead and various customer‑facing team members to ensure patients are supported through their HAE journey. The Manager drives demand generation efforts focused on healthcare professionals, educates and informs them about Takeda brands for the HAE portfolio, manages daytime, evening, and weekend activities, and works closely with third‑party specialty pharmacies to ensure patients receive access to therapy. The candidate must comply with all policies and guidelines to ensure high customer satisfaction and embody Takeda’s culture and values.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
Driving franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies.
Collaborating with the Regional Business Lead and customer‑facing team members to support patients through their HAE journey.
Driving demand generation efforts aimed at healthcare professionals.
Educating and informing HCPs on Takeda brands within the HAE portfolio.
Managing daytime, evening, and weekend activities within the complex HAE marketplace.
Working closely with third‑party specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access to therapy.
Ensuring compliance with all policies and guidelines and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Clinical sales background with a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum) required.
5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience managing and being accountable for own business.
Knowledge of and/or experience in a complex selling model is highly desirable.
Biotech experience desirable.
Results driven – a track record of results and compliance throughout career.
Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
Demonstrated organizational and territory planning skills are required.
Effective at acquiring, analyzing and interpreting customer data to create effective sales strategies.
Demonstrated change agility skills and experiences required.
Demonstrated results in influencing HCPs to prescribe and launch experience a plus.
Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Able to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel to support conventions and meetings related to Immunology.
Must have authorization and ability to drive a company‑leased vehicle or rental.
Training Requirements
This position and continued employment is contingent upon the employee successfully passing mandatory product training which includes written and oral examinations.
During the training period, the employee will be classified as a non‑exempt employee and will be eligible for overtime during the training period only in accordance with applicable federal and/or state law. The employee will not be eligible for any Takeda‑related sales incentive programs or other production‑based bonuses. The training period will consist of live instruction, independent study, role play, and other training related activities which should take no more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours total in a workweek.
After successful passage of the mandatory product training examinations, the employee will transition to exempt status and will no longer be eligible for overtime. They will then be paid on a bi‑weekly basis and eligible to participate in various Takeda‑related sales incentive programs and/or contests.

$67.31 - $92.55
