Position Summary Tallis Corp. is seeking a reliable and experienced Regional Maintenance Director to oversee and support existing maintenance departments across our network of nine skilled nursing facilities in the Greater Los Angeles area. This role is responsible for ensuring all buildings, systems, and equipment are maintained in safe, functional, and compliant condition. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and capable of managing multiple sites while responding to maintenance needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate maintenance operations across all 9 facilities
Perform and/or supervise routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC systems
Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance schedules
Work collaboratively with facility administrators and staff to address maintenance needs
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards
Assist with vendor coordination and project oversight when necessary
Qualifications
3-5 years of maintenance experience (preferably in healthcare, multi-site, or facility management)
Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, and HVAC systems
HVAC certification (required)
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locations
English proficiency (required)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
Preferred Skills
Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare environments
Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems
Work Environment
Frequent travel between facilities is required
Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments
May require occasional after-hours or emergency response
