Position Description The Event & Social Media Coordinator is a dynamic and versatile role within the Events Department, responsible for supporting the Director of Events in the planning, execution, and promotion of corporate events. This role plays a critical part in ensuring ResinTech’s events are not only flawlessly executed but also effectively promoted across digital platforms.

This position is event‑first, with additional collaboration and support provided to the Marketing team on select initiatives as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the full lifecycle of event management, including planning, execution, and post‑event follow‑up

Assist with coordination of trade shows, conferences, global headquarters site visits, community engagement programs, employee events, and sales meetings

Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, timelines, materials, and on‑site execution

Ensure all event‑related activities align with company goals and brand standards

Support CRM (HubSpot) campaign coordination related to events

Event‑Related Social Media & Digital Campaigns

Create and manage social media content, including products, pre‑event promotion, live event coverage, and post‑event engagement

Assist in developing and maintaining an event‑focused social media calendar

Support execution of event‑related email marketing campaigns and digital outreach

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with branding and campaign objectives

Secondary Responsibilities

Provide support to the Marketing team on select projects as needed, particularly those tied to event promotion and digital campaigns

Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and communications

Work closely with the Graphic Designer to develop event branding materials, event graphics, and promotional assets

Partner with the HubSpot Administrator to support event projects and campaign reporting

Coordinate cross‑departmentally with sales, lab, plant, and operations teams for site visits and internal initiatives

Participate in regular inter‑departmental meetings to ensure alignment on shared goals and timelines.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field

Strong organizational and project management skills

Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
