
Hospitality Specialist - Residential
Radias, Minneapolis, MN, United States
Pay: $20-$23 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 am - 6 pm, 40 hours per week
This position is located onsite at our ReEntry House Crisis Stabilization program in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Duties and Responsibilities Housekeeping
Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas and sufficient supply of bedding.
Change resident linen, collect/deliver dirty linen to laundry, and keep linen room stocked with clean linen.
Oversee/Assist in coordination of cleaning duties with staff on site and external resources to maintain exemplary cleanliness standards.
Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained (group rooms, hallways, kitchen/dining areas, laundry room, etc.).
Sweep, dust, mop, scrub, and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space, and other assigned rooms.
Clean, mop, scrub, polish, and disinfect showers, stalls, toilets, sinks, faucets, etc.
Empty trash and garbage containers in the assigned rooms.
Prepare rooms when clients are discharged from the facility (sweep and mop the floor, sanitize room, put new mattress cover on bed, dust, etc.), which includes packing client’s belongings, etc.
Kitchen Manager
Manage Kitchen in regard to Minnesota Department of Health code compliance.
Complete Kitchen tasks connected with the preparation, presentation of meals and beverages, packing of leftovers, and cleaning food service area after meals, ensuring the highest quality.
Maintain inventory of food and supplies (such as paper plates and plastic cutlery), and follow supply process (ordering, etc.) when supplies are low.
Ensure all kitchen equipment used is well-maintained and in good working order, report any defects.
Train staff on how to use equipment, serve meals and meet all licenses requirements.
Carry out general kitchen and dining room duties, such as setting up and cleaning tables, washing dishes/ using the dishwasher to sanitize, serving meals, and labeling/ dating food appropriately.
Ensure that the storage of all cleaning materials conforms to company standard requirements.
Put away all deliveries promptly and ensures the stock room, refrigerators, and freezers are kept clean and accessible.

Maintain confidentiality obligations to RADIAS Health by not discussing client-related matters outside the agency.
Reading and comprehending correspondence.
Basic mathematics knowledge.
Possess organizational skills.
Exercise good judgement and concernment.
Service oriented and able to interface with many people is mandatory.
Compliance to Health Code Standards.
Able to use a computer for word-processing and data base management.
Must have a car, a current MN driver’s license, valid auto insurance and be able to drive during the day or evening hours.
Multitask in an environment with multiple distractions is a must.
Be able to accommodate flexible working hours.
Qualifications
Required:
Previous experience in housekeeping or vocational training in related field.
High school education or its equivalent is preferred.
ServSafe certificate required.
CEU Requirements
Renewal of Serve Safe certification every 3 years.
Follow regulatory guidelines for Continuing Education (CEU) Credits
Attendance at required agency Race Equity Trainings.
