UX/UI Designer Location:
Chillicothe, IL (Hybrid – 2–3 Days On?Site; Must Be Local) Schedule:
Full?Time | Monday–Friday | 1st Shift Pay Rate:
$53–$55/hour (W2 ONLY) Duration:
12?Month Contract-option to go internal
This is a hands?on UX/UI role for candidates with real?world UX research experience. The team values professionals who can balance research, design collaboration, and documentation while working closely with designers, engineers, product owners, and stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
What You’ll Do
Translate research and usability test findings into actionable, prioritized UI design recommendations
Clarify user, customer, and business needs and translate them into compelling interaction concepts and user experiences
Facilitate and apply UX research methodologies to inform product design decisions
Integrate user research insights into product designs and ongoing design practices
Communicate with designers on prototype requirements to test, iterate, and refine concepts
Document key UX goals, themes, behaviors, and elements for downstream UI implementation
Create shareable UX artifacts such as journey maps, storyboards, user flows, and research reports
Document overall UX strategy, including UI principles, physical attributes, and guiding standards
Prioritize UX research needs and backlog based on the product roadmap
Required Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in UX research and user experience best practices (corporate or B2B environments preferred)
Strong understanding of UI best practices, UI design principles, and essential graphic design theory
Experience with UX research methodologies and usability testing
Proficiency with UI layout, specification, and prototyping tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi?disciplinary team environment
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
Portfolio demonstrating UX expertise and the ability to clearly articulate design and research process

Project management experience

Work Environment
