Play a critical role in keeping global operations moving compliantly and efficiently. As DP World expands with a new facility in Rialto, CA, we’re seeking a knowledgeable Customs Manager (Career or Senior level) to lead trade compliance efforts within our logistics operation.
In this role, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert on customs regulations and international trade requirements — ensuring processes, documentation, and controls are aligned with regulatory standards. You’ll partner across teams to mitigate risk, support seamless cross-border movement, and build scalable compliance practices that support business growth.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of trade compliance strategy on‑site — guiding decision‑making, strengthening internal expertise, and helping establish a best‑in‑class compliance framework from the ground up.
About the Role
How you will contribute
Responsible for trade compliance content and expertise throughout the company, contributing to development and implementation of new tools, processes and business capabilities.
Act to understand customer (internal and external) needs in non‑standard and complex situations.
Create and maintain instructions and documents processes in own responsibility area.
Research customs regulations and rulings, determine regulatory or interpretive basis for each classification, and communicate with internal clients and external customs brokers.
Determine FTA qualification based on applicable Rules of Origin and help prepare documentation. Maintain appropriate documentation to substantiate origin determinations.
Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
Experience with import/export compliance, including customs regulations and international trade.
Certified Customs Broker and Licensed Attorney.
EAR and ITAR experience.
Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist and/or Certified Customs Specialist.
Working knowledge of NAFTA and other trade agreements and special customs procedures.
Compensation
Estimated starting salary for Career level is $100,800–$123,200; Senior level is $122,040–$149,160.
