FanDuel is looking for a Commercial Senior Analyst to execute our commercial strategy & objectives for FanDuel Predicts. You will play a key role on the Predicts team, owning customer performance tracking in addition to supporting budgeting & forecasting and day‑to‑day operations. You will be responsible for monitoring customer behavior, spotting trends/criticalities and reporting periodically to the leadership team. This is a highly collaborative role, and you will collaborate with multiple functions within FanDuel including Product, Acquisition & Retention Marketing, Finance & Analytics.

A successful candidate will be a self‑motivated and organized individual with high attention to detail, can easily problem solve and is able to make quick but well‑informed decisions and back them up with data driven results. THE GAME PLAN

Performance Analysis & Insights : Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and opportunities areas, both with our own customer data and by assessing the competitive landscape. Use this information to make data‑driven recommendations for improving customer strategies. Develop standardized & proactive reporting tools to monitor customer performance that can be easily interpreted by stakeholders. Monitor daily performance and identify tactical levers that ensure we deliver against monthly financial targets.

Marketing Insights & Reporting : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of customer strategies. Regularly report on performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose adjustments as needed.

Automation : Provide support for CRM target selections via automated tools and proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes with a view to driving cross‑functional efficiencies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Partner with marketing, commercial and analytics teams to ensure appropriate prioritization and seamless execution of strategies. Provide strategic guidance and insights to all stakeholders to support the growth of the business. Influence the creation, execution and aftercare of improvement and optimization projects that will benefit customers, while considering profitability.

Everything begins with the customer : Be an expert of our customer experience end to end (e.g. media, registration funnel, funding, UX, rewards, CS) and be continuously improving the journey. Develop a strong understanding of FanDuel’s business and the regulatory environment under which FanDuel and its competitors operate. Continuously monitor our industry and evaluate ways to innovate & improve FanDuel’s customer proposition.

THE STATS

3+ years’ experience working in an analytical, technical or commercial field preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis

Proficiency in SQL and Tableau/data visualization required, experience with Python or R a plus

Strong analytical proficiency & Excel-based modeling experience

Strong executive presence, with experience presenting to senior leadership stakeholders

Track record of transforming data into actionable insights and presentations

Ability to take initiative and produce results in a fast‑paced, highly ambiguous environment

Effective at relationship building and sensitive to stakeholders’ needs

Experience working in the real‑money gaming industry or in an adjacent industry preferred but not required

Knowledge of and interest in sports and technology preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success

The applicable salary range for this position is $106,000 - $133,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
