Commercial Senior Director, Performance & Insights, Prediction Markets

Senior Director, Performance and Analytics – FanDuel Predicts is responsible for building and leading the analytics function that underpins decision‑making, performance management, and execution across Commercial, Product, and Marketing for FanDuel Predicts.

Reporting to the General Manager Prediction Markets, the Senior Director will own Predicts’ performance management system — including KPI frameworks, forecasting support, dashboards, and leadership reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own the “why” of FanDuel Predicts, being the single source of truth across the business and defining success and measurement.
  • Build and lead the Predicts Analytics function covering commercial performance, product usage and experience, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Define and own Predicts’ KPI framework, ensuring consistent metric definitions, targets, and ownership.
  • Build and develop a high‑performing analytics team.
  • Own Predicts’ performance narrative for senior leadership.
  • Lead development of dashboards and reporting for revenue, customer engagement, acquisition efficiency, retention, and product performance.
  • Partner with Commercial Strategy to support forecasting, scenario modeling, and investment planning.
  • Partner with Product teams to measure feature impact, identify friction points, and evaluate improvements to customer experience.
  • Partner with Marketing teams on customer segmentation, lifecycle analysis, campaign performance, and attribution.
  • Translate data into action to drive decisions and priorities.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance in collaboration with central FanDuel Analytics.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI‑enabled techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy, performance insights, and decision making.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading an analytics, insights, or strategy function, or equivalent experience from a top‑tier management consulting firm.
  • Proven track record of using analytics to drive business performance and product decisions.
  • Experience defining KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance cadences for senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, funnels, retention, and monetization.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including forecasting, cohort analysis, experimentation, and performance modeling.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
  • Experience building, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing analytics teams.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, automation, or AI‑driven methods to improve insight generation, forecasting, or decision‑making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting insights to senior leadership.

Salary and Compensation

The applicable salary range for this position is $186,000 – $233,000 USD. The role may also offer medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation; paid personal time off; and 14 paid company holidays. Paid sick time is provided in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
