Senior Communications and Branding Specialist Based in Ridley Park, PA, this role leads communications for the H-47 Chinook and MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopter programs within the Vertical Lift division of Boeing Defense, Space and Security. You will report to the Senior Manager of Communications for Vertical Lift Programs and collaborate with program leaders, Business Development & Strategy, Government Operations partners, and public affairs officers from customer organizations and Boeing communicators.
Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic communications plans that support H-47 and MH-139 program growth and priorities, aligning with Vertical Lift, BDS, and enterprise direction. Work closely with the Media Relations team to respond to or initiate media engagements and create engaging written, visual, or other multimedia content for online and traditional channels to reach internal and external audiences. Support program engagements at trade shows and air shows, and coordinate with the Brand and Marketing team on advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Build strong relationships with program leaders, customers and external partners.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of communications experience.
5+ years of experience building and executing strategic, multi‑channel communications plans in support of business priorities.
Excellent listening, writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple high‑visibility projects.
Refined interpersonal skills and ability to form strong relationships with teammates and leaders.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and globally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.
2+ years of experience in a media relations–focused role.
2+ years of experience counseling senior leaders and drafting effective talking points for town halls, webcasts, roundtables and media engagements.
5 years of communications experience supporting defense or aerospace programs, or government platforms.
A passion for aviation and storytelling.
A demonstrable ability to produce video and edit engaging video content.

Pay range: $119,850–$162,150. Pay based on experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
