Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Business Analyst - Portfolio Management Platform to join their team. As a Business Analyst - Portfolio Management Platform, you will be part of the Commercial Banking department supporting the Portfolio Management Platform development and enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Business Analyst - Portfolio Management Platform
Location: Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX (secondary location)
What's the Job?
Lead requirements gathering activities with business users, product owners, and subject matter experts through interviews and working sessions.
Analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements to support scalable platform design.
Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements aligned with credit and portfolio management processes.
Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements, support sprint execution, and assist in UAT planning and validation.
What's Needed?
At least 5 years of experience supporting technology or platform initiatives as a Business Analyst.
Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation.
Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum teams and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
Strong skills in data mapping, data analysis, and system integration requirements.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
