Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Employment Type: 12 months Contract

Pay Rate: $29.00/hour - $31.50/hour

Role Overview This role supports business execution within commercial loan servicing. The position involves performing complex administrative tasks, providing support on escalated questions, and interacting with personnel on a wide range of information. The specialist will be responsible for activities related to servicing commercial loan transactions according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, which may include modifications, account maintenance, and rebookings.

Key Responsibilities

Support business execution by proactively providing feedback and presenting ideas for process and tool improvements.

Perform complex administrative support tasks related to commercial loan servicing.

Manage customer and client modifications, account maintenance, and rebookings to ensure accuracy.

Handle activities for purchased receivables management throughout the life of the transaction.

Provide support on escalated questions and interact with client personnel.

Ensure all servicing activities adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment to meet stringent deadlines.

Required Qualifications Experience: 4+ years of administrative or business support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Loan IQ experience is a strong plus.

A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or another business-related field.

Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with all levels of team members and management.

Ability to provide strong customer service and develop customer relationships.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Environment This is a 12-month contract position with an opportunity for extension or conversion. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a hybrid model requiring three days onsite and two days remote.
