
Sr Director Strategic Planning

Job Description
As a Senior Director Strategic Planning here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving Honeywell's strategic initiatives and long-term growth.
In this role, you will impact comprehensive, encompassing strategic direction, alignment, execution, performance monitoring, risk management, stakeholder engagement, decision support, innovation, communication, budget management, cross‑functional collaboration, long‑term sustainability, performance improvement, employee development, and competitive advantage. You will play a critical role in ensuring that strategic plans are not only formulated but effectively implemented to drive the organization’s success and long‑term growth in all regions and across our businesses.
You will report directly to our SVP & Chief Strategy Officer, and work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive long‑term growth
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive strategic initiatives in regions and across businesses
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and competitive landscape
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadershipLead and manage strategic planning processes
Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or related roles
Proven track record of developing, driving, and executing successful strategic plans
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
Excellent leadership and team management skills
We Value
Bachelor's and advanced degree(s) in Business, Finance, or related field
Strategic planning experience in a global, matrixed organization
Experience in industrial automation domain(s)
Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives
Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
