
Associate - Macro Research Strategy

The Firm:
A differentiated, independent macro research platform focused on delivering actionable, top-down investment insights to institutional clients. The team operates in a highly collaborative, lean environment, partnering closely with investors to translate macro views into portfolio positioning across asset classes.
The Role:
Support the generation of top-down macro strategy views and thematic research
Analyze economic data releases, build models, and contribute to written research and client-facing materials (incl. presentations and slide decks)
Help translate macro perspectives into actionable portfolio positioning ideas
Work closely with a small, high-performing team (including senior quant and junior analyst) as the second junior hire
Collaborate with adjacent teams and contribute across projects with increasing ownership over time
Opportunity to have direct impact or on the investment process in a flexible, non-siloed seat
Profile:
2-3 years’ experience in macro research, economics, or portfolio strategy (sell-side or similar environments)
Strong understanding of global macro and top-down investing frameworks
Well-rounded skillset (not purely quantitative) with solid analytical and communication abilities
Comfortable working with data, building models, and producing written research
Proactive, intellectually curious, and capable of operating in a lean team environment
