Cinematography Prompting Specialist (AI Training) We\'re looking for film-trained specialists to help build the next generation of AI video tools. As a Cinematography Prompting Specialist, you\'ll watch short video clips and translate what you see into precise, technically accurate shot descriptions — the kind of language that only someone with a real eye for cinema can produce. Your work directly shapes how AI understands visual storytelling. If you think in terms of focal length, blocking, and motivated movement, this role was made for you. What You\'ll Do
Watch short video clips and identify key shots, transitions, and visual techniques Describe framing, camera movement, blocking, lighting, and composition using precise film terminology Create structured prompts that capture the look, feel, and intent of each shot Call out stylistic and cinematic references where relevant Follow internal templates for shot-level and sequence-level descriptions Distinguish between effective and ineffective prompts with clear reasoning Maintain consistent terminology, depth, and clarity across all tasks
Must-Have
What You Bring
Background in cinematography, camera work, film editing, or film studies Fluency in film language — you naturally think in terms of shot types, lenses, and movement Sharp eye for visual detail: composition, depth, lens feel, color, and pacing Strong written communication and the ability to stay consistent across repetitive tasks
Nice To Have
Experience writing prompts for video or image generation AI tools Professional experience as a DP, camera operator, director, or editor Familiarity with visual references across genres and styles
