Location Requirement Must reside in the Cleveland, OH metropolitan area to be considered a qualified candidate for this remote Territory Manager opportunity.

Role As a Territory Manager at CVRx you will combine market development expertise with hands‑on technical support to ensure success of CVRx technologies in therapeutic applications. The role is dynamic and multi‑faceted, blending strategic planning, educational support, and direct clinical engagement. Successful candidates should possess professional presentation skills, deep product knowledge, and strong negotiation and closing sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and drive strategies, including resource development and deployment, to meet patient implant and revenue goals.

Ensure execution of strategies to deliver on metrics within the Territory.

Demonstrate expert proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, forecasting, and CVRx commercial business applications, and teach others.

Maintain a thorough understanding of complex physiological and technical principles pertaining to CVRx technologies and therapies.

Support implants, follow‑up procedures, and visits; provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to healthcare providers and CVRx employees.

Receive technical inquiries and research solutions to questions or problems.

Represent CVRx devices to leading cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons to ensure clinical understanding of the therapy.

Provide on‑call clinical support and in‑service education, including one‑on‑one physician training and delivery of technical education to hospital personnel.

Provide R&D support through customer feedback on product enhancements or new product development ideas.

Adhere to sales management processes and reporting systems to ensure disciplined implementation of commercial strategy for the assigned area; maintain an accurate record of devices and programmers in Salesforce.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Educational Training and Experience

BS or equivalent degree in health sciences, engineering, or business, or a combination of education and experience.

7–10+ years of experience in the medical device industry, or a combination of academic, clinical, and market‑development experience with implantable medical devices.

Experience with cardiology or cardiovascular health products, heart‑failure therapeutic devices, cardiac surgery therapeutic devices, or related device sales (experience with heart‑failure devices is highly valued).

Ability to master concepts of medical, surgical, and active implantable device technology.

Effective execution of commercial strategies through demonstrated market‑development abilities.

Experience working with KOLs, APPs, and other key healthcare contacts in the territory.

Knowledge of prior‑authorization challenges and compliant tactics for overcoming them.

Knowledge of the market with a clear understanding of competitive devices, strategies, and advantages/disadvantages relative to CVRx devices.

Patient‑focused, capable of navigating insurance authorization processes.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing sales skills.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and respect‑earning ability.

Accurate forecasting of territory performance and delivery of goals.

Aware, independent, self‑motivated, and high achiever.

Natural perseverance and drive to excel.

Resilient and not deterred easily.

Long‑term relationship‑based selling mindset.

Ability to travel up to 75% annually, including overnight travel.

Valid driver’s license, reliable car, and approved domestic air travel identification.

Preferred Educational Training and Experience

MBA or other advanced degree.

Direct healthcare or clinical experience.

Demonstrated success in a clinical or commercial role within CVRx.

Working Conditions and Required Physical Effort

Normal remote office conditions; self‑management required.

Interfacing with multiple internal departments, physicians, healthcare professionals, investigators, and customers.

Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs comfortably.

Travel up to 75% or more per year.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 and meet all pre‑screening and credentialing requirements.

Benefits Salary range for U.S. locations (USD) is $100,000 per year. The base salary is applicable across the U.S., and may vary based on experience, education, market conditions, and location. In addition to base salary, the position is eligible for a Variable Incentive Plan (VIP) offering uncapped incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding objectives.
