$20–28/hr. W2 (based on experience and education) Shift:

6:30 AM–8:00 PM, 8 hours per day *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications Job Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection process. Accurately label specimens and complete requisition forms. Adhere to standardized procedures for waived testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results. Properly handle and store specimens to maintain sample integrity. Follow protocols for specimen transport and disposal. Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as directed by healthcare providers. Apply electrodes and monitor patients during the procedure to ensure quality tracings. Prepare and verify manifests for specimens being sent to external laboratories or for transportation. Job Requirements: Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collection. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime. Demonstrated superior customer focus and strong communication skills with peers, supervisors, and patients. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections; minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred; keyboard/data entry experience. Additional Job Details:

Floating between three KC Care locations; may float to outlying KC area. Shifts on Monday and Tuesday can run until 8:00 PM, 8‑hour maximum; earliest start time 6:30 AM. Benefits:
