Accountabilities and Essential Functions

Researches and analyzes industry and competitive conditions, customer needs, and supplier needs.

Works with suppliers to coordinate cooperative opportunities, advertising campaigns, and marketing content.

Must be comfortable in various settings, from analyzing data, to interacting confidently with senior management in discussing supplier strategy, and market/competitive strategy.

Contributes to supplier relationships and therefore provides product solutions/unique advantages to suppliers and customers so that Mouser is considered the preferred partner for suppliers and the preferred provider of products for customers.

Strives to align the supplier's marketing efforts with Mouser's strategy.

Provides product and plan management support with the regions to maximize potential growth opportunities globally.

Utilizes product marketing opportunities that support new designs and advanced technologies through strategy meetings with Suppliers and/or the Supplier Management team.

Works with suppliers to obtain reimbursement for cooperative marketing programs and coordinates scheduling of supplier marketing activities.

Manages other initiatives as necessary to support team and company growth.

Supports and participates in company total quality process. Represents the company in a professional manner.

Able to promptly answer support related communications.

Skills & Certifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel (70%), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) at the advanced level preferred.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to ongoing production or process changes and new projects.

Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Supplier Marketing Specialist II

Strong project management skills, driving tasks and projects to meet deadlines.

Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data to determine business opportunities. Ability to produce quality correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.

Drives the process with multiple departments and suppliers to plan and launch their products and manage the cross‑functional implementation of the plan.
