Overview
Mount Pisgah Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist boarding academy in Candler, NC, is seeking a committed and mission-driven IT Director to lead and manage all aspects of campus technology in support of student learning, school operations, and spiritual growth. Primary Responsibilities
Provide leadership and vision for all campus technology systems Manage and support the 1:1 iPad program, including deployment and maintenance Oversee network infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance Maintain campus security systems, including cameras and access control Support audiovisual needs for classrooms, chapel services, and school events Provide technical support to staff and students in a timely and professional manner Supervise and mentor student workers in technology-related roles Maintain accurate documentation of systems, inventory, and procedures Teach Tech Applications to the Freshmen class Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in device management (Apple environment preferred) Working knowledge of networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service Benefits and Other Details
Full-time salaried position On-campus housing is available at a reasonable rate Candidates should be in good standing with the Seventh-day Adventist church and have the legal right to work within the United States Mount Pisgah Academy focuses on the whole health of the student and seeks to prepare graduates with spiritual and academic growth in a culturally diverse environment.
