Personal Lines Account Manager
Position Overview
A growing independent insurance agency is seeking a well-rounded
Personal Lines Account Manager
to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing accounts from start to finish. The Account Manager will be responsible for full-cycle account management—handling everything “soup to nuts”—including client servicing, marketing, and carrier communication across a diverse personal lines book of business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a book of personal lines accounts, including auto, home, umbrella, and other related coverages
Provide full-service support including endorsements, renewals, billing inquiries, and claims assistance
Market new and renewal business to multiple carriers to ensure competitive coverage and pricing
Review policies and identify coverage gaps, making recommendations to clients as needed
Handle client communication proactively and maintain strong relationships
Process certificates, ID cards, and policy documentation accurately and efficiently
Work closely with producers and carriers to place and maintain business
Utilize
AMS 360
for account management, documentation, and workflow tracking
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in personal lines insurance (independent agency experience required)
Strong knowledge of personal lines coverages and underwriting guidelines
Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
Proficiency with
AMS 360
Ability to manage accounts independently from quoting/marketing through servicing
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Active Property & Casualty license (required)
