Role Description The Specification Representative, based in Denver, CO, is a full-time hybrid role, requiring both in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers. Responsibilities include presenting product options, aiding in specifications, providing technical support, conducting training sessions, and staying up-to-date on product trends. The Specification Representative will work closely with sales teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination with customers and vendors.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge in architectural and interior design specifications, project management, and familiarity with building materials.
Proficiency in relationship building, client outreach, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability in presenting to groups, conducting product training, and providing technical support.
Proficient in time management and multitasking, with an ability to meet deadlines.
Understanding of market trends, environmental standards, and sustainable materials is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
Previous experience in specifications or decorative surfaces is an advantage.
Ability to travel locally, as required, to visit clients and support projects.
