Google Ads Associate (Paid Search focus).

Location: Remote‑Hybrid (San Jose, CA)

Duration: 6+ months

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week in office.

Job Overview We are seeking a data‑driven and highly motivated Google Ads Associate to support the day‑to‑day management and optimization of paid search campaigns. This role focuses on driving lead generation and pipeline growth through effective campaign execution, analysis, and continuous performance optimization.

Top Priority Experience

Managing search‑heavy ad portfolios (core focus).

Experience with YouTube advertising, Google Display Network, AI‑driven ad formats.

Experience with data analysis, reporting, and optimization.

Experience expanding campaigns into new channels/​formats.

Able to support scaling initiatives and experimentation.

Deep Google Ads (Search) expertise.

Experience with YouTube + Display expansion.

Strong analytical mindset + experimentation experience.

Comfortable working in fast‑paced, scaling environment.

Able to optimize and scale campaigns effectively.

Strong emphasis on analytics, experimentation, and scaling campaigns.

Preference for B2B experience and complex portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across multiple channels, including

Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube .

Execute campaign setup and ongoing optimization, including:

Campaigns, ad groups, and keyword strategy.

Negative keywords and bidding strategies.

Ad copy and extensions/assets.

A/B testing initiatives.

Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and optimization opportunities using tools such as

Google Ads platform, Salesforce, and Tableau .

Perform campaign maintenance.

Pull and analyze performance data.

Oversee and manage campaign budgets to ensure efficient spend and performance across paid search channels.

Analyze reports, search term data, and performance trends to recommend actionable improvements.

Stay current with

Google Ads updates, product releases, betas, and industry trends

to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

3–5 years

of experience managing Google Ads and other paid search platforms (e.g., Microsoft/Bing Ads).

Strong working knowledge of

Google Ads platform and Google Ads Editor , including campaign setup, keyword research, and optimization strategies.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.

Proficiency in

Excel or Google Sheets

for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience with

Google Analytics (GA4) .

Experience with:

Landing page optimization.

Ad copywriting.

A/B testing for conversion rate improvement.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Willingness to support various projects, accounts, and campaign needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

B2B marketing , preferably within

SaaS .

Background in

FinTech

or financial/accounting industries.

Experience with

enterprise reporting and BI tools , particularly

Tableau .
