The Role & Your Impact As an
Account Manager / Senior Account Manager , you will drive commercial growth in
Plant‑Based Foods , with a strong focus on food ingredients. Your impact will be felt through strategic account development, new business creation, and close customer collaboration across North America.
Building and managing strong relationships with mid‑sized to major global food and CPG customers
Developing joint account plans and opportunity pipelines to deliver sustainable growth
Identifying and converting new business opportunities in plant‑based ingredients
Leading cross‑functional account teams and coordinating with Technical Services, Marketing, and Supply Operations
Managing commercial processes including pricing, contracting, and negotiations
Registering and tracking opportunities in Salesforce and delivering against sales targets
Supporting product launches, application trials, and prototype development
Addressing customer feedback and ensuring high customer satisfaction
What You’ll Need To Be Successful We are looking for a commercially strong professional who combines customer focus with analytical thinking.
Education & Experience
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Sales, Marketing, Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management within food & beverage ingredients
Professional Skills
Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
Experience working with CRM and business systems such as Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft 365
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Personal competencies
Collaborative and skilled in stakeholder management
Adaptable, curious, and proactive in identifying opportunities
Entrepreneurial, solution‑oriented mindset
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
Experience with plant‑based proteins, ingredient innovation, or technical sales
Exposure to prototype development or application trials
Interest in sustainable food systems and innovation‑driven growth
