Associate Manager, Brand Activation & Experiences - Nor Cal
Office/Location: Remote and in NorCal market based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Assists with all regional brand events & local activations designed with and by the National Brand Activation & Experiences Regional Lead using brand materials and assets, ensuring activations are implemented in-line with brand standards and luxury guidelines
Coordinates all execution elements, including arranging venues, catering, entertainment, and other necessary components for all activations
Oversees 3rd-party set-up of venue and day-of execution as needed
Confirms Distributor fulfillment of requested product on day of activation
Raises high-priority opportunities in market to the Brand Activation & Experiences Area Lead.
Reports program/activation execution outcomes and ROIs to the Brand Activation & Experiences Area Lead.
Provides local digital/social assets to accounts for events in partnership with the digital team
Collaborate with internal teams, including Account Owners, Channel Leads, Trade Marketing, Field Trade Marketing, BrandTeams
Build and maintain relationships with Distributor Account Managers, Channel leads, Market Leads and Key Accounts
Activates non-premise local events in partnership with the Brand Teams and Field Trade Marketing Teams
Supports the planning, logistics, and execution of Winemaker/Maison visits in the local area
Embody the values of the Maison and act as an ambassador for MHUSA to identify opportunities that enhance our presence in the market.
Present on-site during the execution of events to ensure seamless operations and address any immediate needs.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required
Professional Experience
5+ years Sales and/or marketing experience in wines and spirits, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries
Activation and/or event coordination experience
Capabilities
This role may include occasional evening or weekend work.
May require travel up to 30% of time.
Capable of building strong relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
Deep knowledge of MHUSA portfolio, brand guidelines, & customer/consumer expectations
Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate and execute on multiple moving parts in an effective and timely manner
Refined communication and presentation skills
Excellent planning and organization skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Project Management skills, cross-functional team player with a proactive mindset
Able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various styles
This role requires frequent driving to support account visits, transport POSM, and meet essential business needs. Driving is an essential function of the position. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required. Eligibility for a company vehicle is subject to a satisfactory driving record and completion of the Company’s approval process.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
