Overview

The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Inc., known as The Bridge, is seeking a visionary and relationship-driven Director of Engagement & Advancement, based in Pasadena, TX, with flexibility for some remote work. This executive-level role will oversee all fundraising initiatives, including donor cultivation, planned giving, and annual giving campaigns in support of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse. This role goes beyond fundraising. It is about mobilizing resources, cultivating meaningful partnerships, and advancing a mission rooted in dignity, safety, and empowerment. Schedule:

Flexible hybrid schedule , combining remote work with required in-office and community collaboration. Hybrid schedules are subject to change based on program needs, funding requirements, and organizational priorities. Compensation:

$65,0000-$75,000 annually . Full Time/Exempt:

36-hours a week Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute comprehensive fundraising strategy (grants, major gifts, corporate partnerships, events, individual giving) Cultivate and steward donors, foundations, and community partners Strengthen The Bridge’s visibility through storytelling, impact reporting, and public engagement Collaborate with executive leadership on revenue growth and long-term sustainability Manage development systems, pipelines, and performance metrics Support mission-aligned events and campaigns that deepen community investment Ideal Candidate

Passionate about survivor advocacy and social justice Proven success in nonprofit development and relationship-building Strategic thinker with strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable representing the organization with high-level stakeholders Values-centered leader who understands that philanthropy is about people, not just dollars Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving, with a proven ability to manage and execute giving campaigns effectively. Strong background in Philanthropy and Fundraising, with exceptional relationship-building and donor management skills. Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight for the planning and allocation of resources in a non-profit setting. Excellent communication and leadership skills with an ability to inspire support for organizational goals. Experience working in non-profit organizations, particularly in supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, is highly desirable. Bachelor\'s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Other Requirements

Must pass criminal background investigation check Must pass drug screen Must provide and maintain current TX Driver’s License Must provide and maintain clean driving record and annually update driving record Must provide and maintain current auto liability insurance Must be authorized to work in the U.S Must be able to lift/carry (40) lbs, and ascend/descend stairs in emergency shelter setting.
