Shifts:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Wage:
$28.00-$31.00 per hour
Are you a hands-on, compassionate "handyman"? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others and ensuring their environment is safe and well kept? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Maintenance Directors' become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community.
In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment of a senior living community.
Duties Include:
Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.
Required Qualifications:
Class C Boiler Operator’s License
or the ability to obtain within six months of hire
At least 1 year of experience maintenance in a multi-unit apartment or senior living community.
Current Driver’s License (in good standing).
High School Diploma or equivalent, formal vocational/technical degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in health care setting is preferred.
Annual reviews with wage increases
Paidtime off & paid holidays
